“Every Once In A While” is the 1st single from Mark Rogers' new album, "Rhythm Of The Roads", which will drop this fall. “I’m learning and developing faster than I ever did as a 25-year old”, Rogers explains. “Today’s pop may be lacking in harmony and melody, but it’s what I love most”.

Of the many roads one takes in life, being a singer songwriter isn’t the easiest. Mark Rogers seems to understand that. When he launched his music career in Los Angeles during the fall of 1982, Rogers and his bandmates created updated cosmic country rock in the same town that invented it 15 years earlier. But the constant barrage of early 80's synth pop took its toll on the band’s fragile sense of belonging and Mark retreated back to Virginia to raise a family. A few years later his old Martin guitar finally rang out a new melody, but this time with words that are attributed to real life experiences. Deeper. Resonating. Hopeful. And with a pop hook. Here comes another one.

Over the past few years Mark Rogers has revealed a seemingly unstoppable flow of melody, as heard on his 2 self released EP's and an album that debuted at # 24 on the Euro Americana Chart in 2019. Rogers new album, "Rhythm Of The Roads", is an exploration of a life lived. It’s a reconciliation. Trials and errors. Love lost and regained, and learning how to live with the two. Mark Rogers hasn’t taken the easy road. His songs wouldn’t be this good if he had.
