Slowman Band has had many different members since its start in 2008. The artist Slowman has over the years released 5 albums and a number of singles. The glowing reviews have ranked his guitar playing on par with “a vintage Eric Clapton” and compared the riffs and songwriting to the Black Crowes and the vocals to Sven Zetterberg.

Slowman has played more than 100 gigs at clubs and festivals around Sweden. The current Slowman Band was formed in 2023 with Svante “Slowman” Törngren, guitar and vocals, Owe Eriksson, bass and Thomas “Tompa” Björklund drums. Owe and Tompa have both played professionally periodically and have added both heavy routine and musical creativity and finesse to the band. According to the frontman himself, this is by far the best set of the Slowman Band that has ever been on stage or in a music studio.
