"Here we have an album with 15 new songs that sometimes makes me think of a rock opera, which in its layers is a bit reminiscent of The Who's 'Tommy', where each song has its own color, its own tone, and that makes the album show us its progressive lines in the veins of music. We have songs that are obvious in their arrangements and Hans Annellsson and his musicians give us something strong to cherish."

- Micheles Kindh / Blaskan -

"The Vegetarians new album, 'Bill Haley', is a mixture of prog, alternative and classic rock, and consists of 14 original songs, mostly written by Hans Annellsson and John Tabacco. There are plenty of musicians on the album, most notably Morgan Ågren (Devin Townsend, Mats & Morgan, Zappa’s Universe) on drums and Mats Öberg (Mats & Morgan, Zappa’s Universe) on keyboards and harmonica.

- Kenneth Bremer / Blue Desert -

"This is an album that has great variations in its music and a record of great entertainment value."

- Wolfgang Giese / Musik An Sich -

"The Vegetarians music is loaded with fun lyrics, while the music is progressive rock with a humoristic approach, very much like Frank Zappa, when you hear songs such as 'Where's My Yoko?', 'Reptilian's Folly' and 'Louie'. Done really well, this is a 70's progrock orientated album that will be loved by fans of Jethro Tull and Zappa."

- Gabor Kleinbloesem / Strutterzine -

"Although The Vegetarians is registered as a progressive rock project from singer songwriter Hans Annellsson, on the recently released album ‘Bill Haley’ we can hear several songs that seem to be closer related to folk music than to rock. But it is in fact the mix of both styles that convinced us of the success and the quality of The Vegetarians.“

- Valére Sampermans / Rootstime -
