Everywhere

The year was 2020. When all plans were thwarted, gigs and tours cancelled left and right, West Of
Eden decided to shine a light on ideas and projects that normally don’t get the attention they deserve. For instance, recording a few songs, a bit on the fly, in a cabin by the sea. The whole band in one room, unplugged and close, just a few mics and that nervous energy that arises from nailing the
take in one go.

So, in May 2020, West Of Eden borrowed a cabin on the Bohuslän coast, and at the very last moment,
with only a few hours to spare before returning home, they decided to record a cover as well. “I had 2 ideas for cover songs in the back pocket, just in case”, says Martin Schaub: “'Hunting High and Low' by a-ha and 'Everywhere' by Fleetwood Mac. After all, I was a teen in the 80's. Everyone but me voted for 'Everywhere', and the choice was made!”

The result is a warm, intimate rendition with celtic influences, giving new life to a durable, classic pop song. "Everywhere" is out on all digital platforms October 2nd, 2020, and is taken from the mini album "Cabin Songs" which will released October 25th, 2020.
