- Tom Arvidsson / Thirsty Boots -

"Sister Speak is the recording alias for Sherri Anne Nyberg. With roots stretching from Canada’s west coast to Sweden, Sherri Anne is currently exploring a deeper connection to her homeland and cultural roots through her new EP, 'Coming Home'."

- Kenneth Bremer / Blue Desert -

"This is the 5th release from Canadian artist Sherri Anne Nyberg who performs under the stage name of Sister Speak. Previous releases included 2 studio albums, a live recording, and an EP. This new music is also released as an EP, and it has 5 songs, running over 14 minutes, with the arrangements mainly acoustic based. It’s a pleasant EP, even if the short duration leaves you wanting more from this talented artist."

- Paul McGee / Lonesome Highway -

"The mood is very intimate and folky, and Sherrie Anne's voice comes into its own when, as in 'Coming Home', only an acoustic guitar serves as an accompaniment, and the piano is embellished a little. All in all, the music presented is very appealing and can arouse emotions."

- Wolfgang Giese / Musik An Sich -

"At the request of Sherrie Anne's fanbase, who explicitly demanded an intimate look at Sister Speak's work as a songwriter, while she otherwise likes to work with electronic and electric elements in her studio productions, she took the opportunity to shed light on musical aspects that have to do with the traditions of her homeland on the west coast of Canada, because like her now famous colleagues Ocie Elliott, Sherri Anne also comes from the living folk scene of Vancouver Island, which is what the title track, 'Coming Home', refers to."

- Ullrich Maurer / Gaesteliste -

"The 5 songs here range from well known singer songwriter sound to gospel. Closing song is a French Canadian translation of 'Love For All', the title track of her previous album. The vocals are clearly in the foreground in the 5 songs. Despite the fact that this EP contains only 5 songs, it is clear that Nyberg now opts for a more open sound in which the vocals shine, even though you feel a lot of melancholy."

- Marius Roeting / New Folk Sounds -

"Canadian singer songwriter Sherri Anne Nyberg uses the alias Sister Speak to release her selfwritten songs and records. Following the excellent album 'Love For All' from 2022 she is now bringing a 5 track EP called 'Coming Home'. It contains 5 intimate and semi acoustic compositions and includes the melodic song 'L’Amour Partout' that Sherri Anne sings in French language together with Canadian singer songwriter Matt Stern."

- Valére Sampermans / Rootstime -

"We can find here an intimate material, mostly done in full acoustic mood, with a gentle lyrical approach and the same instrumental communicative' way. Sherrie Anne's short poems are concise and creatively original in their own way, with the tone of voice especially standing out. One song is a little different than others, and that is a 'spiritual' gem of 1 minute and 20 seconds, entitled 'Oh, Sunshine'. This is a listenable and intimate release, which will certainly affect your mood while you listen to it."

- Branimir Lokner / Time Machine Music -
