The Miners are an alt country band based in Philadelphia, PA, formed in 2007 by co-founder and leader Keith Marlowe. The Miners are known for their country infused, guitar and pedal steel laden, alt country originals.

On September 23, 2022, The Miners releases their 1st full length album, "Megunticook", in Europe. The 10 original Keith Marlowe penned tunes were recorded at MilkBoy Studio in Philadelphia, PA, and Marlowe’s Matchup Zone Studio and mixed at MilkBoy. The album was mastered by Joe Lambert and was self released through Marlowe’s own Matchup Zone Music.

The 1st single, “Without You”, premiered on Americana Highways, and the follow up single, “Leaving For Ohio”, premiered on American Blues Scene. "Megunticok" has received airplay on outlets such as WXPN’s Americana Music Hour, Out Of The Woods Radio, syndicated US and overseas stations, Radio Free Americana, and ALL FM 96.9, and has been written up on Grateful Web, Magnet Magazine, American Blues Scene, Americana Highways, and Adobe & Teardrops, among others.

The Miners focus their live shows primarily at the Philly area’s top venues such as Ardmore Music Hall, World Café Live, MilkBoy Philly and 118 North. The Miners have opened for national touring acts
including the Outlaws, John Wesley Harding, Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers and Don Dixon. For 6 years, The Miners have hosted a sold out benefit at World Café Live for Breast Cancer charities such
as Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
