"Eileen Rose bjuder på klassisk folkrock, country och americana när det låter som bäst. I alla fall är nya 'Insanitia' ett solklart bevis på just detta. Det handlar om 12 låtar, inklusive några covers, bland annat av John Prine och Los Lobos. Hur som helst handlar det om en mycket tilltalande skiva med både ett lysandet sväng och några lugnare alster, som inkluderar klassiska instrument som banjo, dragspel och fiol."

"Häromdagen dök det upp en CD med Eileen Rose på posten. Även om hela skivan var riktigt bra, var det i mitt tycke två låtar som stack ut. Dels för att de är väldigt bra såklart, men också för att de fick mig att tänka på David Bowie. 'The Moment' påminner en del om 'All The Young Dudes' och 'The Blonde Lady Of The Cherry Tree' leder tankarna till 'Life On Mars'. Att Rose dessutom låter spöklikt mycket som Maria McKee hamnar högt upp på pluskontot. Faktum är att McKees 'Absolute Barking Stars' är som ett borttappat syskon till nämnda låtar."
