Next in the lineup of foundational Little Feat albums to get the Rhino Records deluxe treatment is the band’s 1971 self titled debut album. Releasing as a 2 CD set, this edition includes the original album, newly remastered from the original master tapes, alongside a bonus disc of rare, previously unreleased alternate versions and outtakes from their early recording sessions.
"Little Feat" is the debut album by the US rock band Little Feat and was originally released in 1971. The album combines influences from rock, blues, country, and funk, introducing the band’s unique style and the songwriting talent of Lowell George.
The record features a mix of rootsy rock, strong guitar parts, and relaxed grooves that later became characteristic of Little Feat’s sound. Although the album did not gain widespread recognition until later, it is now regarded as an important release within American rock of the 70's.
