"9:e plattan med duon Peter Gallway och Annie Gallup är en lyckad sådan, eftersom skivans 3:e spår av tio, '”One-step', fastnar lika snabbt och övertygande som en klibbig pepparkaksdeg. Precis som tidigare handlar det rent musikaliskt om en slags amerikansk folkpop, eller americana om man så vill, där duon spelar alla instrument själva, så när som hjälp med trumslagandet av Joe Wainer. Sammantaget en varierad skiva med framför allt mycket gott hanterande av instrumenten, vilket märks med klar tydlighet i 'Pilot Light', med hanterande av gitarren så att det nästan låter som gamla Ventures skulle ha återuppstått. Dags att lägga namnet Hat Check Girl på minnet och då inte med fokus på den gamla 30-tals filmen med samma namn eller låten med den gamla brittiska gruppen Sailor."
