"Old Time Rock & Roll" spotlights the musical bond between Dwight Twilley and his longtime guitarist, Bill Pitcock IV. As Twilley explained, “Bill had been with me since ‘I’m On Fire’. I could just sing a note to him and he’d know exactly what I wanted. It was one of those things where you barely needed to talk. My wife, who engineers the records, would say, ‘Pitcock speaks Twilley’, because we just had a way of communicating”.

Pitcock’s on fire across this set of ‘Twillified’ rock & roll classics recorded at Twilley’s Big Oak Studio, blasting out hot licks and solos like nowhere else on record. “Bill was the greatest guitar player in the world. As a musician he was simply a genius, a super extraordinary talent who was an integral part of my sound”.

Originally released 2009. First proper physical release of this material on CD. Brand new concept, title, artwork, and recompiled repertoire. Liner notes consist entirely of quotes from Dwight and Bill. Remastered by Maria Triana. 5th release in Iconoclassic's definitive Dwight Twilley CD series.
