Demon Records is proud to release Intrigue "Steve Wilson Presents Progressive Sounds In UK Alternative Music 1979 - 1989", a new compilation assembled by acclaimed musician, singer songwriter and record producer, Steven Wilson.

Featuring 58 tracks, the collection explores the creativity, experimentation and progressive spirit of alternative British music from 1979 to1989. Artists include Gary Numan, Stranglers, Ultravox, Simple Minds, Specials, John Foxx, Japan, The The, Tears For Fears, New Order, and many more.

Available in a 7 LP box set with signed print exclusively for a limited time only, limited to 1 000 copies, as well as on 4 CD media book, and a double vinyl set.

The 7 LP and 4 CD formats feature 58 tracks, with the 2 LP vinyl edition featuring 20 highlights. Each format features an introduction by Steven Wilson and track by track liner notes by James Nice.
