Talking Heads’ classic 1979 album "Fear Of Music" will be out in November as part of the ongoing reissue campaign. Co-produced with Brian Eno, the album features the singles "Life During Wartime", "Air", "I Zimbra" and "Cities".

This 3 CD + 1 BluRay super deluxe edition is in the same large format book edition as "Taking Heads 77" and "More Songs About Buildings And Food" and expands upon the original album featuring rare studio outtakes and alternate versions as well as 2 previously unreleased full complete shows from the 'Fear of Music' tour recorded at Berklee Performance Center in Boston, Massachusetts on August 24th, 1979, and Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey, on November 17th, 1979.

The BluRay disc featuring what is surely a much anticipated Dolby Atmos of the album, as well as a 5.1 mix and a hi-res stereo mix. The BluRay also includes video content. Rare filmed footage of the band performing on the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1979.

The entire stereo audio from the 1st 3 CDs are available in a 6 LP vinyl box set, but there’s also a 2 LP variant which ignores the live stuff, delivers the remastered album, and the rarities appended on CD 1 as a separate LP, effectively the 1st 2 LPs from the 6 LP box.

"Fear Of Music" will be released on November 13th, 2026, via Sire Records and Warner Music.
