Wheels Of Fire Deluxe

"Wheels Of Fire", released in the summer of 1968, is considered one of the most influential albums in rock history. Now, Cream's 3rd album returns in an expanded super deluxe edition, which provides an in-depth look at the creation and impact of this classic.

The 5 CD super deluxe edition brings together the full story of "Wheels Of Fire". In addition to new remasters, the box contains dozens of previously unreleased recordings, alternative mixes and material from producer Felix Pappalardi's personal tapes.

The fully restored studio recording is striking. The original CSG technique from 1968 has been corrected, so that the music now sounds clearer and more detailed than ever.

The box set contains an extensive collection of rarities, including early versions and alternative mixes. 9 of the 15 tracks on this disc have never been released before.

The live recordings also play an important role. In addition to the well known 4 tracks, this edition includes 8 additional live recordings from March 1968, recorded at the Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland Ballroom. Among them is a never before released version of "We're Going Wrong".

In addition to the 5 CD box set, a 3 LP set is also released under the title "Wheels Of Fire : In The Studio". This deluxe vinyl release contains the studio recordings in a renewed form, supplemented with mono mixes and a selection of rarities.
