Renowned multi platinum singer songwriter Harold Payne, celebrated for his inspiring, heartfelt compositions, has introduced a new song that reaches straight to the heart. “Angels Don’t Always Wear Wings” Payne's latest single release, showcases his signature blend of positivity with a global message that we should appreciate the little acts of kindness we all experience every day.
Payne has this to say about the song, “'Angels' is a song about the unsung heroes in the world that go about their daily lives doing good for others and expecting nothing in return. I wrote the song because someone asked if I knew a song about angels. Instead of learning someone else’s song, my mind went to all the people who truly do acts of kindness every day that never get the attention they deserve. We all have those special people who make a difference in our lives”.
“Angels Don’t Always Wear Wings” is Payne’s newest release, following on the heels of other recent successful singles, “This is My Tribe”, “The Song That Saved the World”, and “Quiet Heroes”. “Quiet Heroes” itself was another salute to the unsung heroes, that of the 100th Battalion & 442nd Regimental Combat Team that defended the United States of America during World War II, which was made up entirely of Japanese Americans.
To show appreciation in particular for mothers and their contributions to the world, a special live, video release version of “Angels Don’t Always Wear Wings” is introduced, in the video, Payne salutes his own mother, Lorraine 'Dolly' Payne, and the contributions she made to the lives of him and his family.
Harold Payne's remarkable career spans decades, with numerous accolades and collaborations with esteemed artists such as Bobby Womack, Rod Stewart, Patti LaBelle, among others. From chart topping hits to soul stirring ballads, Payne transcends traditional genres while captivating audiences around the world.
“Angels Don’t Always Wear Wings” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
