Renowned multi platinum songwriter and performer Harold Payne, celebrated for his soulful, positive compositions, touches audiences with his latest release, "Quiet Heroes”. The heartfelt song, which sings the praises of the often overlooked Japanese American Soldiers of World War II, will be released on June 28th, 2024.

Having grown up on the same block with 3 of these veterans, Harold did not learn about their exploits until he was in his early 20's. They never talked about how they liberated several towns in France and Italy from the Nazis, all this, while their families were being held in internment camps back home. The 100th/442nd was the most decorated unit of its size and length of service in US military history and are still celebrated in the towns they liberated.

“So while their families were put in internment camps they volunteered to serve, despite that, to prove their loyalty”. This not only impressed Harold but these memories would later inspire him to write the words and music to honor these veterans, "Quiet Heroes".

Harold Payne's remarkable career spans decades, with numerous accolades and recordings by esteemed artists such as Bobby Womack, Rod Stewart, Patti LaBelle and Snoop Dogg, among many others. From chart topping hits to soul stirring ballads, Payne transcends traditional genres while captivating audiences across the globe. "Quiet Heroes", Payne's latest single release, showcases his signature blend of positivity and inspiration, in honoring these valiant men. The accompanying video by Robert Horsting emotionally captures the faces and scenes of this moment in history.
