"Faces" is the 3rd album that Erik Palmberg has released under his own name. Based in Stockholm,
Sweden, just as the other members of his hand picked quartet, he has been gaining more and more
recognition for his lyrical and expressive playing.

Erik is also a sought after sideman and is a current member of Swedish jazz groups like Horncraft and
Lexingtone and he's been featured in groups like the newly reborn Swedish Radio Jazz Group, led by Nils Landgren, as well as the renown Blue House Jazz Orchestra, led by Peter Asplund and Magnus Lindgren.

Erik has also gained recognition outside Sweden and has done several tours in Germany with German top musicians.

Anton Dromberg is the youngest in the group and is quickly becoming one of Swedens most interesting pianists. ”Lyrical, innovative and technically impressive” is some of the words that describes his playing. Anton plays in groups such as Bear Garden, Alf Carlsson Quartet, and his duo album with Anna Berglund was celebrated as the 'Song And Piano Album Of The Year 2021' in Lira Music Magazine. Apart from being a pianist he is also a composer and producer and has been awarded with several scholarships for his arrangements for both small groups and big orchestras.

From 2007 to 2010 Niklas Wennström was part of the legendary Fredrik Norén band. Fredrik was known for picking up the best talents in Sweden. Esbjörn Svensson and Jonas Kullhammar were some of the musicians who had played there just before. Niklas later joined the Elin Larsson Group, and together they won several prestigious awards, such as 'The Jazz Group Of The Year 2021' in Swedish National Radio. In 2015 he was featured in Kristin Amparos group where he played an important part together with Joel Lyssarides and Robert Ikiz. Niklas has toured throughout Europe and the US, and regularly plays with the elite of Scandinavian musicians.

Born in Germany 1973, Sebastian Voegler moved to New York in 1992 to study at the prestigious The Mannes New School Of Jazz. He regularly played at the clubs with some of New Yorks top musicians. In 1998 he moved to Stockholm, Sweden, and quickly became an in demand drummer, playing with all the top names in Swedish jazz. In Sweden, he also toured with big names like Jerry Bergonzi and Benny Golson. Sebastian has been featured on over 30 albums with wide range of jazz artists like Nils Berg, Karl Martin Almqvist, Oskar Schönning, Max Agnas and many others, and has toured the world, playing at international festivals like Jazz Baltica, Mexico City Jazz Festival, Cape Town Jazz Festival, Rochester International Jazz Festival, Prague, Bohemian International Jazz Festival and others.

The title track from Erik Palmberg's forthcoming album "Faces" is out now on all download and streaming sites, and the full album will released on November 22nd, 2024.
