Dr Rock & The Famous Merengo

Dr Rock & The Famous Merengo is a band that looks back to the Anglo-Saxon rock culture based on vocal harmonies and ethereal melodies.

The influence of American bands such as Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers is mixed here with the percussive vocals of the British scene like Beatles, Zombies, Easybeats and Hollies.

The lyrics remain well aligned with the unfolding events experienced by Dr Rock, a.k.a. Niko Gorodetzky, in the recent years.

The new album's title, "Willow Creek", refers to the time Niko spent in Louisiana writing his thriller 'Crucifixion Road', which left such an indelible mark on him and eventually became a song.
